Clancy Catholic College is a Year 7-12 Catholic co-educational secondary school. Opened in 2006, Clancy Catholic College has built a reputation for quality teaching, state of the art facilities, excellent HSC results and flexible learning environments that incorporates technology into student learning.

Understanding the diversity of student ability is paramount to achieving outstanding results. Clancy Catholic College caters for the diverse learning of gifted and talented students via an integrated school program called the Newman Selective Program. This program has been designed to extend gifted and talented students in a variety of academic and creative ways that reflect their identified potential. Newman students can also be extended further with the availability of Clancy University, an opportunity specifically designed for gifted and talented students who move at a pace beyond the regular curriculum.

Clancy Catholic College is the feeder school for Holy Spirit Primary, Carnes Hill, St Catherine of Siena, Prestons and St Francis Xavier, Lurnea. In addition we also serve families of our local parishes including Holy Spirit, Carnes Hill and St Francis Xavier, Lurnea. Enrolments are also accepted from families who meet the criteria as listed in the Enrolment Policy.

Packages can be obtained from the College office following our Open Day. In accordance with guiding principles set by Sydney Catholic School, a criteria is provided to assist in the discernment of the priority in which enrolment applications are accepted. See Enrolment Policy.

If my child is attending a government school, can they enrol into Clancy Catholic College?
Yes, but please refer to the Enrolment Policy.
When to enrol?
Enrolments are taken throughout the year. The main enrolment period for Year 7 is during the month of March each year.
How do I enrol my child at Clancy Catholic College?
Parents wishing to enrol their child at Clancy Catholic College should contact the College for an enrolment package. The enrolment package contains all the relevant information required including Enrolment Policy and Fees.
What documents are required when submitting an application?
  • Proof of Address (e.g. Council Rates Notice).
  • Parish Reference to be filled out and signed by your Parish Priest or Parish of worship with a passport size photo of your child.
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptism Certificate
  • If a student is born overseas and not an Australian Citizen, a copy of their passport and visa is required.
  • If a student is born in Australia but parents were born overseas, proof of Australian Citizenship is required.
  • Relevant medical and/or Special Needs information including assessment/s (if applicable).
  • Semester 1 and 2 school reports (most recent).
  • Naplan results (Year 5 only if applying for Year 7.
  • Court of custodial orders (if applicable).
What happens once an enrolment application has been lodged?
The Enrolment Secretary will contact you to arrange an interview with the Principal. If successful, there is a non refundable enrolment fee of $150.
