In exciting Connecting Clancy news Mrs Katie Khoury used Skype in the Classroom to connect with Erikslund School in Boras, Sweden. Her Year 12 English Studies class are studying English and Travel. To break down geographical barriers, Mrs Khoury used Skype to beam a Swedish teacher and class to Clancy while Clancy was beamed to Sweden. Both classes devised questions for the other to answer, videos were shared and educational experiences were explored across the world in an example of education cooperating across borders. Students were motivated, engaged and proactive in making sure Clancy was represented effectively to the world. This is an exciting example of the innovation at our school. The Connecting Clancy Project will continue throughout the year and I look forward to sharing more stories with you in the future.
